SANDALWOOD

Australian Sandalwood
(Santalum Spicatum, Santalum Album & Santalum Lanceolatum)

Sandalwood is a class of woods from trees in the genus Santalum. The Sandalwood oil is extracted from the woods for use and its notes are oriental and woody with hints of floral. Sandalwood is often cited as one of the most expensive woods in the world and has antipyretic, antiseptic, antiscabetic and diuretic properties.
